Layering parfumé GALBEE : l’art de composer son sillage

GALBEE layered fragrance: the art of creating your own scent signature.

The art of fragrance layering according to GALBEE

At GALBEE, each fragrance has its own character. But some hearts resonate with each other, complement each other, and reinforce each other. Layering, or layering fragrances, allows you to compose an intimate, unique, and ever-changing olfactory signature.

"Layering is a way to perfume yourself freely, to express your mood of the day without saying a word."

What is layering?

An ancient practice originating in the Middle East, layering involves superimposing several fragrances. Far from being a simple accumulation, it is a subtle art that plays on contrasts, affinities, and dosages. A new way to wear perfume, more personal than ever.

Why practice layering?

  • To create a fragrance that truly reflects you.
  • To adapt your fragrance to the season, the mood, the moment.
  • To intensify the lasting power and depth of a fragrance.

How to do it right?

  • Start with a neutral cream to moisturize the skin and set the fragrance.
  • First, apply a base note that envelops the scent (musk, wood, amber, etc.)
  • Then, layer on a brighter or fresher note.
  • Respect an order from the mildest to the most intense.

Layering according to GALBEE

Some of our creations have been designed to complement each other. Combining a woody base with a floral heart, or a soft musk with an amber touch, creates a scent that is both nuanced and balanced.

Some duos to explore:

  • FROMGALBEE + NOTE FROM GALB
A sweet and spicy accord, between luminous musk and vanilla enhanced with wood and saffron.
  • OH MY GALB + GALBEE IS WOODY
Rose and wood meet: a duo that combines warmth and woody freshness.
  • BEE OUD + GALB AVENUE
An intensely oriental and floral layering, between oud, orange blossom and lily of the valley.

Our Discovery Set allows you to explore, test, and create. With complete freedom. Because at GALBEE, fragrance is an emotion... and a playground.
